The Center for Rapid Product Realization at Western Carolina University offers a full range of reverse engineering and rapid prototyping services drawing on the skills and talents of the faculty and students of the Kimmel School of Construction Management and Technology.  These services include

• 3D laser scanning, CMM measuring and ProEngineer parametric modeling,

• Additive rapid prototyping technologies in ABS, polycarbonate, PPSF, and acrylic

• Subtractive rapid prototyping technologies in precision laser machining and CNC machining.

• In the areas of fiber optics, optoelectronics and intelligent sensor systems, the Rapid Center can provide sophisticated testing and evaluation services.
